About the Equipment: Tubing Head and Casing Head:

The wellhead is the critical surface termination of a wellbore, comprising several key components that work together to suspend downhole strings, seal annular spaces, and control production. The two primary components in this shipment are the casing head and the tubing head.

  • Casing Head

The casing head is a fundamental component that connects the casing strings to various wellhead devices. It serves to support the weight of technical casing and production casing, while sealing the annular space between each casing string. The casing head also provides a transition joint for the installation of the tubing head, Christmas tree, and other wellhead equipment. Its two-side-outlet design allows for cement supply, well monitoring, pressure control, and balance liquid injection.

  • Tubing Head

The tubing head is a spool with a flanged top, flanged bottom, and two side outlets. Installed on top of the casing head, it consists of a body housing and a tubing hanger. The tubing head suspends the tubing string and seals the annular space between the tubing and production casing. It also provides a connection point for the Christmas tree and other production control equipment.

Both products are designed and manufactured in strict compliance with API Spec 6A – the international standard for wellhead and Christmas tree equipment – ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and safety in demanding oilfield environments.
